From the fortress, wading the river for a few hundred metres, you come to the contemporary church. Its size and layout is quite impressive, and quite unusual with its two hexagonal rooms.
Around this church there was a medium-sized town, that disappeared in the 12th century. The church was rich in marble decorations, but all of this has been relocated to the Antalya Archaeological Museum.
