Ouezzane is quite a picturesque town, with its traditional houses climbing up the hill along nicely paved streets. There are many examples of elaborate, finely decorated doors.
The suuqs of Ouezzane are quite lively, and most days you have a good chance of being the only tourist in sight. The local speciality are woollen rugs; if you like ask for the weavers' suuq, which is located near Place Rawida, you can watch the production process.
