Andimeshk
Persian: andīmeshk

City in southwestern Iran with 130,000 inhabitants (2009 estimate), in Khuzestan province, at an elevation of 150 metres.
Andimeshk has been much developed through the 20th century, primarily with the Dez Dam and military camps. Agriculture depends largely from the Dez Dam.
Most inhabitants of Andimeshk are Lors.
It is connected to Teheran and Ahvaz by highways and railways.
This historical Persian capital, Susa is 35 km south.
